All of the sugar monkey’s cakes are handmade to order using only the finest quality ingredients. We use European style Vermont butter, Valrhona chocolate and only the freshest seasonal fruit.

One of the hardest decisions in your wedding cake consultation will be which flavor combination to choose. Please let us know your favorite flavor combinations when scheduling your tasting. Our most popular flavors and fillings are:

Cake fillings – vanilla cream and fresh berries, lemon cream and fresh raspberries, lemon cream and citrus compote, dark chocolate cream, mocha cream, praline cream, cream cheese, coconut mousseline
Once you pick out your flavor, the fun begins – styling your wedding cake! Typically, cake finishes are either butter cream or fondant. That is where all similarities to any other cake end. The final design will be a collaboration between the bride to be (it is YOUR day after all) and Chef Jennifer in a personal consultation at the cake studio. Please bring to your appointment any and all design elements you can no matter how small: magazine pictures, linen samples, etc.
